Oldies But Goodies | Exhibit | "Red Rock Country"

Exhibit overview: I used a surprisingly simple palette for painting most of the pictures in this exhibit. My medium was oil and the colors on my palette were Thalo Red Rose, Cadmium Red Light, Cadmium Orange, Cadmium Yellow Light, Thalo Green, French Ultramarine Blue and White. I could have probably eliminated Cadmium Red Light, Cadmium Orange and even Thalo Green, but why make things too challenging? When you're on location with the wind kicking up, the light changing and bugs bitting, whatever works is the only method to follow. All the pieces were executed in a single session ranging from 1 to 3 hours with very little, if any, touching up done back in my studio.
